Pre-Commissioning Course — online

Work through the course day by day and module by module. Each module opens into short lessons drawn from the course notes, followed by key takeaways. Practical fault finding moves online through the virtual fault-finding simulator.

Virtual fault-finding simulator

Simulated BMS installations: a Day 2 hardwired pack and a Day 3 RS-485 / Modbus pack. Each scenario may have a hidden fault, or the installation may be healthy. Take meter readings, inject test signals, prove cables and work from the wiring drawing, then work through Identify → Prove → Verify → Restore → Record and get scored feedback. Your attempts are saved on your device.

Included with the online course for enrolled delegates.

How online delivery will work

Theory modules are available here to study at your own pace, and practical fault finding is practised in the virtual fault-finding simulator. Online delegates are assessed through end-of-module assessments and a final multiple-choice exam. The online course doesn't include hands-on electrical testing, and completing it does not by itself establish practical competence or authorization to work on electrical systems.
